AOCA was appointed as the independent Third-Party Quality Assurance Advisor for the waterproofing roof envelope works associated with the Glass Bottle Development. Our role is to provide objective technical oversight and assurance throughout the design, installation and performance verification of the various waterproofing systems incorporated into the project.

The roof envelope designs varied significantly across the development, incorporating a range of solutions including sedum roofs, blue and green roof systems, and concrete paved roof finishes installed over Paralon waterproofing membranes. Given the complexity and diversity of the roof build-ups, careful review and monitoring were required to ensure each system met the required performance, durability and compliance standards.

As an independent QA Advisor, AOCA provided impartial assessment of design details, installation practices and workmanship, working to minimise the risk of future defects, water ingress and warranty issues. Through proactive quality management and technical assurance, AOCA supported the successful delivery of a robust and reliable waterproofing envelope for this significant development.
