We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our growing team in Portlaoise. The role involves supporting the design and delivery of a range of building projects, from initial concept and planning through to detailed design and construction.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Architectural Technology, relevant industry experience, strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction methods, and excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities

- Prepare planning, tender, and construction drawings.
- Develop detailed technical design solutions and construction details.
- Assist in project coordination with clients, contractors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, planning requirements, and relevant standards.
- Produce specifications and technical documentation.
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion.
- Conduct site visits and assist with project inspections as required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience with Revit/BIM software is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction detailing.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence preferred.
